1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") apply to cardcloudclub.com and every page, game and feature on it (together, the "Site"). In these Terms, "Card Cloud Club", "we", "us" and "our" mean the team that runs the Site, and "you" means the person using it.
By confirming that you are 19 or over and using the Site, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is a free social casino for entertainment only, designed as a sunlit salon above the clouds. It offers two 5-reel slots (Gilded Sky Slot and Paper Plane Slot, which share one reel engine), Cloudburst Cascade Slot, Halo Wheel Roulette and High Cloud Blackjack, all played with virtual credits that have no cash value.
2. No real-money gambling
The Site does not offer real-money gambling of any kind. Nothing on the Site is a wager, a bet or a game of chance for money or for anything of value. On the Site, you cannot:
- deposit, stake or wager real money, cryptocurrency or any other thing of value;
- buy, top up or otherwise pay for virtual credits, spins, hands, features or upgrades;
- win real money, cash, cryptocurrency, gift cards, vouchers, merchandise, tokens or prizes of any kind;
- withdraw, cash out or redeem virtual credits, or enter them in any sweepstakes, contest or prize draw;
- sell, trade, transfer, gift, lend or exchange virtual credits with anyone, on or off the Site;
- convert virtual credits into anything of value, in any currency, on any platform;
- receive a reward, bonus, discount or benefit outside the Site because of your play on the Site;
- create an account, a player profile or a wallet, because the Site has none.
A lucky streak at Card Cloud Club does not mean you would do well at real-money gambling. Social casino results are not a guide to real gambling outcomes, and the Site does not run sweepstakes, contests or prize draws of any kind.
3. Virtual credits are not money
Virtual credits are a counter inside the games, used only to play on the Site. You start with 10,000 virtual credits, and a free refill back to 10,000 is available whenever your balance falls under 1,000.
- Virtual credits have no cash value and no monetary value of any kind.
- Virtual credits cannot be redeemed, exchanged, sold or transferred, and they are not your property.
- Your balance is stored only in your own browser. Clearing your browser storage, switching browser or device, or using private browsing may reset or lose it. We cannot restore a balance and have no record of it.
- We may change how virtual credits work, including the starting balance, refills and game rules, at any time.
4. No purchase necessary
No purchase is necessary to use any part of the Site, and no purchase is possible. The Site has no shop, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no paid features and no payment processing. We will never ask you for card, bank, payment or cryptocurrency details. If anyone asks you to pay for Card Cloud Club credits, it is not us; please tell us at [email protected].
5. Age requirement: 19+
The Site is only for adults aged 19 or over. This applies everywhere the Site is offered, including Alberta and Manitoba, even though the legal gambling age in those provinces is 18. By confirming your age you tell us that you are 19 or over.
The Site is not directed at minors. If you are under 19, please leave the Site. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has used the Site, you can clear the Site's data from that browser (see the Cookie Policy) and contact us at [email protected].
6. Your conduct, with no account
There is no sign-up, login or account on the Site, so everything you do happens inside your own browser. When using the Site you agree not to:
- use the Site if you are under 19 or if you are in Ontario or Quebec;
- try to sell, trade or advertise virtual credits, screenshots of balances or "accounts" as if they had value;
- interfere with, overload, scrape at scale, reverse engineer for harmful purposes, or try to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its hosting;
- use the Site's name, art or game names to mislead anyone, including by suggesting that real prizes are available;
- use the Site in breach of any law that applies to you.
Changing values in your own browser storage only affects your own copy of the games and has no value. Please play with care and take breaks; our Responsible Play page has a pause tool and help lines.
7. Where the Site is offered
The Site is offered only to adults in Canada, excluding Ontario and Quebec. The Site is not offered in Ontario or Quebec, and residents of and visitors in Ontario or Quebec must not use it.
We do not use a geolocation service or any third-party location vendor, and we do not collect your location. We rely on you to respect this restriction. The Site is not directed at, marketed to or offered in the United States or any other country outside Canada.
8. Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, design, code, game logic, the game names Gilded Sky Slot, Paper Plane Slot, Cloudburst Cascade Slot, Halo Wheel Roulette and High Cloud Blackjack, its symbols, its generated artwork and video, and its sounds, is original to Card Cloud Club or used with permission, and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.
You may view the Site and play its games for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, republish, sell or create derivative works from the Site, its artwork or its game names without our written permission, except as allowed by law (for example, fair dealing under the Copyright Act). The Cormorant Garamond and Outfit fonts used on the Site are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, and copies of the licences are included with the Site files.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided free of charge for entertainment, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time, or that browser-stored balances will be kept.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Because the Site is free and involves no money, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of zero dollars or the minimum amount that applicable law allows.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, right or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of Canada or of your province or territory, including rights you have under provincial consumer protection legislation.
10. Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may update, suspend or discontinue the Site or any game at any time. We may also update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, show a notice on the Site. If you keep using the Site after a change, the updated Terms apply from then on.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and, where provincial law is needed, the laws of the Province of British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice of law does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the province or territory where you live. Ontario and Quebec are not the governing venue for these Terms.
12. Questions and disputes
If you have a concern or complaint about the Site, please email [email protected] first and describe the issue. We will try in good faith to resolve it with you informally within 30 days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved that way and a court must be named, it will be heard by the courts of the Province of British Columbia, unless the consumer protection law of your province or territory gives you the right to bring the claim in your home province or territory, in which case you keep that right.
13. Severability
If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only to the extent needed, and the rest of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours if the Site changes hands, provided your rights are not reduced.
